Works in a safe manner and assures co-workers work in a safe manner. Reports safety hazards immediately to appropriate individual. Continues to expand safety awareness by participating in annual safety training programs. Troubleshoots and repairs production and support equipment experiencing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems. Performs electrical/mechanical component replacement, assuring compliance with work instructions. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance per issued checklists. Performs equipment installation tasks per work order instructions and plan specifications. Maintains adequate records of work performed on equipment and corrective action taken. Completes and submits proper forms for the tracking of items sent out for repair, items to be added to the stores system, and other forms as required to facilitate equipment maintenance. Provides training and guidance for team members less skilled in machine repair and service.
