Job SummaryJOB TITLE: Maintenance GroundskeeperQUALIFICATIONS:Experience in Groundskeeping STATUS: Non ExemptREPORTS TO: Maintenance SupervisorTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:12 Months (240 Days)SALARY: Current Salary ScheduleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Routine Inspections: Conducting regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential hazards.Groundskeeping: Maintaining school grounds, including mowing lawns, tending to landscaping, and clearing snow and ice (in colder climates).Responding to Requests: Promptly addressing maintenance requests from staff and administration.Collaboration: Working with other staff members and contractors on facility improvement projects.Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and protocols.Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.Inventory Management: Keeping track of maintenance supplies and equipment.EVALUATION:Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of personnel.
