Responsibilities:
- Maintain all areas of the community including grounds, fences, parking, community buildings, pools, furniture, appliances, HVAC, and lift stations
- Maintain service and power equipment, tools, and kitchen equipment
- Coordinate preventative maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
- Keep records of maintenance and repairs using work order systems
- Communicate repair status to management
- Provide 24/7 on-call maintenance services
- Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including fire safety and hazard prevention
- Manage maintenance supply inventory
- Respond to resident and staff maintenance requests and concerns
- Collaborate with management on community marketing and operations
- Supervise Maintenance and Housekeeping teams
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential maintenance
- Maintain required licensure and certifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License if needed
- Effective communication skills in English
- Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, plumbing, electrical, HVAC
- Physical ability to perform exertion tasks, including lifting 50-100 lbs, standing, climbing, and working after hours
- Valid driver's license or willingness to obtain one
