Responsibilities
Manage maintenance and preventative efforts for an assigned community, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliances, and amenities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Supervise all maintenance staff and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors.Handle customer service requests via work order system, prioritizing and delegating tasks to staff, and ensuring issues are resolved promptly.Oversee apartment turnover and preventative maintenance programs to maximize community value, assessing damages and costs.Procure parts, chemicals, and supplies in accordance with company policies.Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, and rooms to ensure proper functionality.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.Operate a company vehicle if required.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.At least 2 years of experience in multi-family property management or building maintenance.Basic arithmetic skills for measurements and calculations.Ability to use independent judgment to meet community and company goals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.Experience with maintenance tools and equipment, and ability to train others in their safe use.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and access confined spaces or heights.Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and Safety Data Sheets.Valid driver's license; willingness to drive company or personal vehicle.Compliance with company motor vehicle policies.Benefits
