Our goal each and every day is to provide care, comfort, and respect to our residents. We are looking for an individual with skill, ability, and compassion to fulfill our full-time Maintenance Technician position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, service, and repair of the interior and exterior of our communities, including HVAC, appliances, plumbing, electrical, painting, general labor, and lawn/landscaping.
- Respond to maintenance requests for items needing repair in residents' rooms.
- Maintain positive communication with the local fire marshal, building inspector, and other governing jurisdictions.
- Drive the facility bus to appointments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of general maintenance experience, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.
- Knowledge of building equipment, codes, and systems.
- Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work weekends.
- Enjoy working with seniors.
- Detail-oriented, customer service-focused, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills.
- Provide proof of a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Neat appearance and punctuality.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
Additional Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
- Benefits include dental, health, and vision insurance, plus paid time off.
- Schedule: Day and evening shifts, Monday to Friday, on call.
- Experience: Facilities Maintenance, 2 years preferred.
