Maintenance Director - Pccar : Job Details

Pediatric Complex Care of Arkansas is an intermediate care facility that cares for children with severe developmental and medically complex needs. We are champions for our residents, with employees who collaboratively work together to create and maintain the quality of life for our residents by fostering a safe and clean environment. This is a full-time Maintenance Director position that is under the direct report of the Director of Facilities. The primary focus and responsibilities of this position are to keep the building and premise of Pediatric Complex Care of Arkansas in good condition while ensuring the safety and welfare of PCCA's residents.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all general repairs, construction, and maintenance of facility-owned property to ensure the safety and welfare of residents and employees at PCCA. The Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance department responsibilities and employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of all facility-owned property, including painting, electrical, and plumbing.
• Monthly equipment checks of fire extinguishers, washing machine, dryer machine, dish machine, and generator.
• Maintenance and repair of wheelchairs on a weekly basis, and as needed, including assisting with manufacturing adaptive seating, regular repairs, and equipment modification.
• Assist in the development of adaptive therapy equipment as necessary in cooperation with the therapy department.
• Manufacture adaptive beds and furniture as needed for residents.
• Installation and building of various equipment.
• Maintaining communication between building maintenance suppliers and service companies.
• Other duties as necessary and appropriate, or as directed by the Director of Facilities/Administration.

Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check.
