Join Our Team as Plant Operations Director at Vitalia Active Adult Community - Solon, Ohio

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Operations Director to oversee maintenance, grounds, and safety at our Vitalia Active Adult Community located at 6050 Kruse Dr., Solon, Ohio 44139. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, with weekend rotation duties.

Responsibilities:

Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure the physical building and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance.

Manage Maintenance Operations: Oversee the plant and housekeeping departments, including budgeting, staffing, and compliance to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Community Engagement: Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing requests promptly and ensuring the community and apartments meet quality standards.

Safety Leadership: Prioritize safety for employees, residents, and guests, managing environmental hazards and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• HVAC certification and experience preferred
• Knowledge of construction, plumbing, painting, flooring, and landscaping is a plus
• Minimum two years of maintenance supervisory experience in multi-unit housing
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform active physical tasks
• Clear criminal background check
• Good health, verified by recent health screening and TB test
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Experience in senior housing is preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and leadership skills
