As a Maintenance Clerk, your main job is to keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment. You'll make sure the right materials are available when needed, working closely with technicians, supervisors, and vendors. You'll help order items, keep inventory records accurate, and stay organized to support smooth maintenance operations. What You'll Get:

What You'll Do:
  • Keep track of maintenance inventory (supplies, tools, parts).
  • Make sure inventory records are correct and up to date.
  • Organize and label supplies properly in storage areas.
  • Work with technicians to understand what items they need.
  • Order new supplies when stock runs low or for upcoming work.
  • Check deliveries to make sure everything is correct and in good condition.
  • Regularly check inventory for errors or outdated items.
  • Communicate with vendors to track orders and solve issues.
  • Plan ahead for supply needs based on upcoming projects.
  • Create and follow inventory procedures to reduce waste.
  • Keep storage areas clean and organized.
  • Enter work orders and part details into the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Follow all written instructions and procedures unless told otherwise by a manager.
  • Help track work orders, update their status, and make sure records are complete.
  • Watch for delays or backlogs and let the Maintenance Manager know.
  • Keep maintenance records organized (both paper and digital).
  • Help prepare for meetings, safety checks, and audits.
  • Track tool checkouts and returns.
  • Notify management if tools need repair or replacement.
  • Track vendor deliveries and report any delays.
  • Help gather data for monthly reports.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with all departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
The Skills You'll Need:
  • Strong understanding of how to manage and track inventory.
  • Knows common tools, parts, and supplies used in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software or systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma or GED, additional certification or training in inventory management is a plus
  • Experience as an Inventory Control Clerk or similar role, preferably in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
  • Age 18+ with reliable transportation
