Job Description

Summary: This position leads and manages all aspects of the Maintenance department to meet the company's strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe, environmentally compliant workplace meeting all regulatory standards and policies.
  • Adhere to all 6-S initiatives, ensuring team compliance.
  • Demonstrate integrity and uphold PCC's Code of Conduct.
  • Oversee maintenance activities, coordinate with management, and prioritize tasks.
  • Manage quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of maintenance staff and external resources.
  • Utilize CMMS software to document and analyze maintenance work and root causes.
  • Maintain equipment readiness through preventive and predictive maintenance, managing spare parts inventory.
  • Determine staffing needs, coach staff, and promote team development.
  • Analyze data and processes for continuous improvement in safety, cost, and reliability.
  • Assist with budgeting and capital requests.
  • Oversee site management, including external services and safety standards.
  • Manage facility enhancements, vendor negotiations, and project execution.
  • Develop and enforce personnel policies and labor relations.
  • Plan and execute projects within budget and schedule.
  • Maintain equipment history and stay updated on industry advancements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least five years of maintenance supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Project management, interpersonal skills, troubleshooting, organizational skills, leadership, technical background, software proficiency, communication, initiative, analytical thinking, time management, business acumen, mentoring, strategic thinking, and proficiency in PCC Toolbox applications.

Physical Demands: Office work requires stationary position, occasional movement, and frequent use of computers. Manufacturing work may involve exposure to noise and heat, standing, walking, lifting up to 35 pounds, and visual acuity.
