Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze the Phoenix II, web service, and batch business applications.
• Take the lead in analyzing and troubleshooting assigned system problems.
• Propose solutions.
• Code, test, promote, and interact with impacted users, ensuring that the solution meets requirements.
• Provide daily and weekly status updates to the development manager.

Required Skills

• 8 years of development with MicroFocus Visual COBOL in Windows Server 2019/2022, batch, and under IIS.
• 4 years of development using Visual Studio 2019/2022, including the ability to use the debugger.
• 4 years of application programming against RDBMS (Oracle, SQL).

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of ability to write complex queries using SQL for Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• 2 years of IIS configuration/setup experience.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft C# .NET.

Required Education Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related discipline with 8 years of experience or a minimum of 10 years of related experience without a degree. Preferred Certifications

• MS Technical Certifications will be factored into the selection process.
• MicroFocus Certifications are a significant advantage.
