Essential Job Functions: Manages functional areas and other managers or department leads in regional capability to ensure that business objectives are met Identifies and manages the implementation of process improvements Manages and develops demand forecasts with account teams on large accounts to assist functional areas or departments in planning and delivering end-to-end services. Identifies issues and recommends alternative approaches Works with functional areas or departments to interpret and plan projects or workload forecasts. Provides advice and counsel regarding various results Prepares, recommends, and oversees development of rates, operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans, develops, and recommends variances. Performs and/or oversees budget analysis Identifies and manages service improvements to increase customer and account satisfaction. Manages and ensures delivery of projects meet client and company expectations and needs Participates in developing new business solutions/proposals and introduces new technology to enhance business solutions Support in the development and execution of infrastructure strategies and projects Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of infrastructure systems Collaborate with other teams or customers to understand and address their infrastructure needs Implement and adhere to infrastructure best practices and standards Act as a point of contact for resolving infrastructure-related issues and incidents Assist in creating and maintaining infrastructure documentation Participate in optimizing resource allocation for infrastructure projects and initiatives Basic Qualifications: OVERALL experience - 20+ Years 10 years of mainframe infrastructure experience as a technologist / operations / engineering 5 years of Mainframe Infrastructure managerial leadership with direct report managers/supervisors who have team members. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role Proven experience in infrastructure technology management Proficiencies in project management and technical knowledge A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology P&L responsibility Expansion of services to fill all gamut s of infrastructure-increase breadth. Focus on project opportunities and transformation initiatives ITIL process definitions and implementation Automation in service delivery Resource management
