Role: Mainframe Consultant

Location: Omaha, NE / Berkeley Heights, NJ / Alpharetta, GA

Job Description & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology and Mainframe Technologies.
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in COBOL, ASM, CICS, and DB2.
  • Experience working with DB2 (Stored procedures, Native SP, SQL).
  • Strong analytical and design skills.
  • Ability to lead requirements elicitation, design reviews, mentor team members, and review tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience and interest in working in a global delivery environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex software components using available developer tools.
  • Create, execute, and review test plans and define test data.
  • Create and maintain software documentation and report system data using reporting tools.
  • Work involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods.
  • Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is required.
