KXRM-TV FOX21 in beautiful Colorado Springs is seeking a Main Evening News Anchor to drive our evening newscasts (4:30p, 5p, 6:30p, 9p, and 10p) and help us redefine what it means to be a local broadcaster in a rapidly changing media landscape.This isn't your typical anchor job, it's a chance to make an impact. What We're Looking For:

We want a trailblazer who isn't afraid to get out from behind the desk. Someone who can mentor younger journalists, be active with ideas in the editorial meeting, write and produce impactful content, and jump in as a field reporter on a weekly basis. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative, high-energy newsroom.

Bonus Points If You:

• Know your way around ENPS, Adobe Premiere, and the Ross graphics system
• Have experience with streaming content and digital-first thinking

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years on-air anchoring experience (market size considered)
• Exceptional writing, communication, and on-camera skills
• A strong editorial voice and excellent news judgment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours when news breaks

COMPENSATION RANGE:

Annual Salary: $90,000, commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
