Mailroom Student Worker/Driver - Student Employment - Saint Xavier University : Job Details

This Position is accountable for assisting management with driving mail route as well as performing all mail room functions required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Drives the daily mail route to deliver mail/packages as well as special daily deliveries as required. Work with staff, faculty, and external customers on mailing needs to meet deadlines. Services customers at the walk-up retail window. Preps customers outgoing mail, UPS, FEDEX , Amazon etc. packages. Executes retail purchase transactions. Sorts incoming mail and packages to prep for internal delivery. Delivers mail and packages to internal and student customers. Operates the Pitney & Bowes machinery to meter outgoing mail with correct postage. Logs incoming packages and priority mailings. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer services skills required. Ability to lift up to 40-pound packages. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
