We are hiring for a Mailroom Processing Clerk position! This is an onsite, hands-on role where you will be responsible for providing document review and data entry support to our client. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the operations you support. This position offers a structured, team-oriented environment with comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

A typical day in this position will involve opening envelopes and inspecting their contents, ensuring that all items meet processing standards. You'll verify check negotiability and handle exceptions when needed. Each transaction will be reviewed and categorized according to specific lockbox business rules. You'll also organize the contents in the correct order for scanning. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to company policies and standards, and the flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

• Capturing and validating data at times is more complicated than standard requests.
• Providing production services to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry, document processing, scanning, or similar activities
• Receiving documents from both electronic and hard copy form for processing
• Processing documents by following internal processes and identifying any gaps in required information
• Identifying documents and their purpose is to create a database of information
• Following up with customers for additional information or documentation as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States (no visa transfer or sponsorship needed).
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a production-oriented mindset.
• Be organized and ability to multi-task while adapting to changing priorities.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent also provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $19.00 per hour.
