Job DescriptionJob Title: Mail Room Clerk Pay: $20/Hr. Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a Mail Room Clerk for a full-time, temporary position for our client, a local company with a culture of care where associates are inspired to bring their true selves to work located in Scarborough, ME. The Clerk will be responsible for emptying and sorting the inner office mail bags, or packaging them up to send to the warehouse. The ability to reference lists to ensure corporate mail is sorted correctly and sent to the appropriate people and locations is crucial. TheClerk will be expected to be proactive and independent in completing tasks. This is a temporary, full-time position located in Scarborough, ME. As a Mail Room Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Emptying and sorting inner office mail bags, and packaging mail for delivery to the warehouse.
• Ensuring that envelopes and packages are sent to the correct recipients and locations based on reference lists.
• Taking initiative and figuring out solutions independently.
• Lifting and moving up to 75lbs as needed.
• Maintaining a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Reading, writing, and occasionally thinking critically to manage mail efficiently.
• Handling tasks with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Word; ability to read, write, and think critically; organized and proactive.
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• None required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs and spend the majority of the day on your feet.
