Responsibilities for the Mail Room Clerk include but are not limited to:
Mail Handling & Distribution: Sort and distribute incoming/outgoing U.S. mail, overnight packages, interoffice correspondence, and product samples across multiple floors and departments.
Shipping & Courier Coordination: Prepare shipments, operate postage machines, determine cost-effective shipping methods, and coordinate with courier services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) for deliveries and issue resolution.
Sample Management: Organize and distribute product samples; remove and stage samples designated for charity or disposal.
Mailroom Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom, monitor equipment, record postage meter readings, and initiate service calls as needed.
Reporting: Provide daily updates to the mailroom dashboard and track charity bin usage and movement.
Facilities Support: Assist with tasks as directed, including conference room setups, supply deliveries, and other building-related needs.
Inventory Audit: Conduct monthly inventory audit to ensure all mailroom and facility supplies are maintained at par levels.
Space Audit: Conduct monthly audit of assigned floors to verify proper seat assignments and ensure name labels at cubicles and offices are accurate and up to date.
Copy Room Space Audit: Conduct monthly audit to ensure assigned copy rooms are clean, well-organized, and meet company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Mail Center Manager.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for a Mail Room Clerk
High school graduate or equivalent
1-3 years' experience in a high-volume corporate mail distribution department or facilities management maintenance department required
Must demonstrate independent decision-making abilities
Must possess strong time management skills
Must be self-motivated and work well with minimal supervision
Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel and Word software

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
