Temporary Mail Room Clerk (3-Month Contract) Location: Downtown Seattle, WA Duration: 3-Month Contract Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Type: Temporary / Contract Are you organized, dependable, and enjoy keeping things moving behind the scenes? We're looking for a Temporary Mail Room Clerk to join our team in Downtown Seattle for a 3-month contract. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth mail and package operations in a professional office environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Prepare outgoing mail and shipments
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
  • Operate mailroom equipment (e.g., postage machines, scanners)
  • Ensure timely and secure handling of sensitive documents
  • Assist with inventory and supply management
  • Provide general support to facilities and administrative teams
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a mailroom or clerical support role preferred
  • Ability to lift and move packages (up to 25 lbs)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with tracking systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
