Explore our culture.**This role is ONSITE working at 605 Territorial Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 3:00pm - 11:30pm**Summary:Lead a team within the mail inserting department to ensure products/projects are being completed on time, meet quality standards, and output requirements while ensuring all employees meet safety standards and follow all work safety procedures.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Mail Inserting - 2ndshift production team
  • Execute production schedules in the department
  • Communicate and collaborate with the Mail Finishing Manager
  • Operateandmaintain mail inserting equipment
  • Troubleshoot mail inserting equipment if basic issues arise
  • Handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stock jobs for mailing
  • Collaborate with Prepress, Print, and Mail teams on project position and workflowrecommendations
  • Follow all written instructions in job tickets, general work instructions, and operating standards
  • Perform production quality verifications per the standard operating procedures
  • Perform daily maintenance and assist in an emergency if needed
  • Operation and set up of inserting equipment including but not limited to cutting, accumulating, folding and inserting
  • Perform production record/sequence verifications steps on all variable jobs
  • Complete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communications and operations
  • Enter data of jobs being processed for labor tracking, material usage, and productivity numbers
  • Collaborate and Assist department managers to effectively meet deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed to meet goals
  • Perform job duties in compliance with company regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of continuousproduction work experience (in mail industry or print industry)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Effective process management skills and proven leadership experience (lead/supervisor/trainer)
  • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to document regular activities and e-mail correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Aptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail.
