MachinistWe are looking for a Machinist to join our Lansing, NY team.The Machinist is responsible for setting up machines for Operators. This individual will also have experience reading drawings and manufacturing parts.Senior Operators are also encouraged to apply.Location: Lansing, NYSalary: $22-$25/hourPlease note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in STATE. • Manufacture and inspect detailed parts from drawings using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, jig bores and other machining equipment).
• Being able to perform mathematical and geometrical calculations.
• Determine how to set up machines based on instructions received and perform minor repairs of equipment.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and free from safety hazards and to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.

What You Bring

• Ability to read and interpret process worksheets, inspect parts, set-up, operate and maintain set-ups of machines, and maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to set up CNC lathes and mills preferred.
• Wire EDM and waterjet experience are preferred.
