Smith Equipment, a Miller Electric Mfg. company, is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for machining parts. This is a fast-paced position operating multiple machines simultaneously on the shift. Candidate will need to ensure efficient machine operation to produce quality products while working safely and meeting delivery expectations to our customers. $26 - $33 based on experience. How you will Make an Impact: Perform work in a safe manner by following safety rules and ensuring that proper safety equipment is used. Set-up and operate CNC and conventional machines and grinders. Monitor life of tooling and sharpen tools. Create and edit CNC programs. Know inspection tools and how to use them to ensure parts meet print specifications and finishes.
