Machinist Apprentice - Automation Personnel Services : Job Details

Machinist's Apprentice Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Machinist's Apprentice candidate for a company based in Cullman Al. In this job, you will be assisting the Machinist in all job duties to ensure the work runs smoothly and efficiently. Pay Rate $20 Schedule and Hours Monday-Friday 6am-4:30pm Machinist's Apprentice Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, threading machines, grinders, and saws.
• Using tools to drill, cut and shape materials to required specs.
• Using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Routine maintenance work.

Machinist's Apprentice Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to work with the machinist and take instructions
• Keep a clean work environment
• Lath and Mill machine experience (required)
• Traditional Machine (non-CNC/Computer aided) experience (required)
