Job DescriptionPosition: Machine Technician/Material HandlerPay: $18+, based on experienceHours: 2nd shift, OT may be requiredLocation: HowellDo you have mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and skilled in operating and maintaining production equipment? Our client is seeking a Machine Technician to operate plastic blow molding machines, perform basic mechanical and process-related tasks, and ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on position that works closely with Team Leaders, MT3 Technicians, and Maintenance staff to keep operations on track.Duties:•Operate plastic blow molding machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.•Follow all established Safety, Health, QA, GMP, and BRC standards, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.•Perform frequent visual checks to ensure product quality and consistent manufacturing output.•Maintain accurate and timely machine operating records, including daily and weekly logs.•Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized in compliance with GMP standards.•Supply production lines with materials and packaging as needed.•Promptly report equipment issues to the Team Leader and/or Maintenance for resolution.•Participate in Continuous Improvement (CIP) efforts with the production team.•Perform other duties as assigned, including General Operator tasks.Requirements:•High school diploma or GED required.•2-3 years of manufacturing experience and 1-2 years of machine operation experience.•Mechanically inclined with basic math skills.•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, and twisting for the full shift.•Must be available for mandatory overtime, including weekends.•Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.•Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.•Team-oriented, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with others.Why Work With Us?•Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including healthcare, vacation/holiday pay, and 401(k).•Opportunities for hands-on training, skill development, and career growth.•A collaborative, safety-focused environment where quality is the top priority.
