Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will directly impact our production goals and product quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Operate machinery in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).• Monitor equipment performance and report any irregularities or malfunctions.• Perform quality inspections using precision gauges to ensure products meet specifications.• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient environment.• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.Physical RequirementsThis role involves a range of physical activities essential to the production process:Lifting & Carrying• Frequently lift up to 11 lbs (e.g., diaphragm rods at Crimper station - approx. 22 lifts/hour).• Constantly lift 3.5 lbs (e.g., molds at Expander station - up to 96 lifts/hour, reaching heights of 58 inches).• Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs (e.g., talc powder bags - shared 2-person lift).• Carry items up to 11 lbs, 5-10 times/hour over short distances.Repetitive Hand Use• Constant bilateral hand activity (20-30 efforts/minute) at Expander and Winder stations.• Tasks include applying/removing springs, snapping parts, manipulating diaphragms, and assembling rings.• Requires somewhat hard to hard grasping depending on the station.Pushing & Pulling• Occasionally push/pull up to 30 lbs of force at shoulder height (e.g., moving carts or portable lifters).Postural Demands• Stand for extended periods (up to 11 hours/day).• Frequently reach overhead (up to 68 inches) and forward (up to 21 inches).• Occasionally twist or flex the neck, especially at Winder and Crimper stations.• Occasionally crouch to access low storage or materials.Environmental & Sensory Demands• Work in a fast-paced environment with cycle times as short as 25 seconds (up to 356 cycles/hour).• Exposure to dust, heated air, and machine noise (hearing protection required).• High tactile sensitivity and visual acuity required for quality inspections.BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELLIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
