1. Demonstrates a commitment to safety - Works safely in the laboratory and manufacturing environments - Identifies and corrects hazards - Ensures rigorous compliance with standard safety procedures and OC corporate policies - Practices good housekeeping habits 2. Running SIS pilot line - Preps line for start-up - Runs and identifies potential improvements that can be made - Runs a forklift - Cleans and maintains equipment - Tests samples as needed 3. Metrics - Actively contributes to Near Miss tracking system and documents hazard eliminations - Full participation in site safety initiatives - Performs non-routine task hazard assessments - Safely and consistently completes operational tasks for the SIS pilot line - Tests deliverables, meets Quality Requirements and Standards REQUIREMENTS - Associate degree or equivalent (High School with experience accepted) - Hands-on aptitude with mechanical equipment - Hands on experience with power tools - Must be comfortable using a computer.
