The company provides deep material science expertise, outstanding customer service through broad geographic coverage and trusted product reliability.Job Summary: Configuring and calibrating punch presses, including setting dies, loading materials, and feeding material through the machine.Job Duties:* Operates punch press die cutter* Packing and labeling boxes to customer specifications* Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards.* Identifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality Control* Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventory* Identify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team lead* Must be willing to work in other departments and/or areas and complete miscellaneous duties as assignedJob Qualifications:* High School diploma and/or equivalent* Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task* Must be able to keep up with production standards* Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills* Must possess good problem solving skills* Ability to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other departments* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing* Basic computer skills* Willingness to work as team member or independently* Must be able to read a tape measure* Must be able to lift up to 50#'s* Must be able to read a micrometer* Must be able to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involvedTranscendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
