HireLevel is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant in Mascoutah, IL. Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant Job Type: Temp to Hire. Location: Mascoutah, IL - Shift: Monday-Friday | 7 am-3:30 pm. Pay: $17-18/hour. Similar Positions: Fabrication, Machine Shop, Welder helper. Responsibilities Machine Operator Assistant:Load and unload metal and other materials from machines. Using tape measures and other hand tools to assist in fabrication process. Assist with shearing and cutting raw materials. General cleaning of the shop and work areas to ensure cleanliness. Other general labor duties as assigned. Requirements of Machine Operator Assistant:Must be able to read a tape measure. Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout shift. Must be comfortable working in a machine shop environment Must have good attention to detail. Must have own transportation and great attendance record Must have Steel Toed Boots.
