AAM is hiring Machine Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift openings! Pay starts at $18.90, with a $1,000 sign on bonus and increases with experience. Job Description. Responsible for operating one or more types of production equipment. Selects appropriate settings Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications. Loads & unloads material to and from equipment according to prescribed methods. Inspects parts using precision measuring tools and for visual defects and/or certification marks. Clean machines & work area throughout and at end of shift. Follows all safe work practices & safety rules. Follows established quality standards. Works collaboratively with team members and others to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems. Ability to use computer terminals; gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
