Machine Operator - 1st Shift - Award Staffing : Job Details

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Machine Operator• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$22.00/Hour• Location: Fridley, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:1. Working with CNC milling machines on a daily basis and learning how to become a good CNC machinist.2. Basic machine set-up.3. Performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for.4. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally during the shift.5. Requires a very high degree of precision in work where errors are costly and control, accuracy are required.6. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.Duties and Responsibilities:1. Entry level employees will require supervision for daily operation.2. Entry level employees will possess little or no programming and process analysis skills.3. Limited to select equipment and requires supervision on peripheral devices and computer systems.4. Is not yet fully capable of making corrections and adjustment actions to manage dimensional results of machining cycle in terms of work holding, cutting tools and machine operation.5. Will Monitor machines at all times for proper operation. · Will maintain regular and timely attendance.6. Able to use measuring tools to check parts, calibers, and such.7.
