Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to implement state-of-the-art model architectures into our training pipeline and automate labeling processes.
• Process vast amounts of data and optimize machine learning models to enhance GPU utilization, memory management, and training workflows.
• Design and maintain scalable distributed training systems for multi-modal foundation models tailored for autonomous retail.
• Develop robust monitoring and debugging tools to ensure optimal performance of our training workflows.
• Work with cross-functional teams to explore new design approaches and evaluate technical feasibility for innovative solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience, including knowledge of coding standards and best practices.
• Experience with designing system architecture and developing scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Familiarity with modern visual-language models and multi-modal AI systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with developing and optimizing ML models for large-scale applications.
• A background in GPU utilization techniques and multi-modal learning.

Our compensation package is competitive, with a base pay range of $129,300 to $223,600 depending on market location and experience. Additional benefits include equity options, sign-on payments, and comprehensive medical and financial packages.
