Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Machine Learning Data Scientist to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. This role involves developing ML, AI, NLP, and Deep Learning solutions to support healthcare delivery, understanding industry challenges, and delivering real-time predictions to aid care providers.

The Data Scientist I will manage end-to-end ML/DL product development, from understanding business needs to deploying models and monitoring their performance. The role requires a motivated self-starter committed to high-quality solutions and continuous learning. The table below indicates the experience/expertise levels expected for Data Scientists.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to the “Code of Conduct” and “Mission and Value Statement.”
  • Work hours may vary depending on workload and project deadlines.
  • Apply knowledge in statistics, machine learning, model fitting, and optimization.
  • Use Python or R for statistical modeling and machine learning (Python preferred).
  • Engage in data analysis, exploration, modeling, and visualization.
  • Apply business acumen to research and frame projects for predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in Unix/command line.
  • Evaluate model performance in production.
  • Experience with SQL and database interrogation.
  • Utilize data visualization tools like Looker, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (HDFS, Impala, Kafka, Cassandra).
  • Use container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  • Monitor containers with Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Handle data acquisition, cleansing, and parsing.

Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Master's or PhD degree preferred.
