Machine Design Engineer - Olin Corporation : Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Machine Design Engineer to develop and improve machinery and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in conceptualizing, designing, prototyping, and refining machines for manufacturing or industrial applications. Machine Design Engineer Essential Job Functions:Develop and optimize product designs and drafting using CAD software (AutoCAD, Solid. Works, Inventor, Creo) while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Design precision tooling and machine mechanisms for automation from conception through implementation phase of a project. Conduct FEA simulations, hands-on prototyping, tolerance stacking evaluation, and engineering production trials to validate design performance and trouble shoot issues prior to entering high-speed manufacturing.
