Join the team at our Medical, Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology Practice in Midtown Manhattan.

Full Time Permanent Medical and Surgical Assistant to work with a dermatologist performs Dermatologic Surgery, including Mohs Surgery, in addition to Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology.

• Surgical Assistant experience in a Dermatology or Plastic Surgery practice for more than 2 years.
• Experience with laser procedures and other cosmetic procedures preferred.
• EMR experience required. Modernizing Medicine (EMA) preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
