**Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) • Corrections • Day Shift**Join our team as an LVN in a Texas correctional facility, providing crucial healthcare in a dynamic setting.**Responsibilities:**• Deliver nursing care and administer medications.• Monitor patient health and document progress.• Collaborate with healthcare professionals.• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid.• Float between units as needed.**Schedule:**• Day shifts: 5:30 AM • 6:00 PM.• Rotating 36/48•hour work weeks.• Overtime available.**Qualifications:**• Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state.• 2+ years LVN experience, 1+ year in Acute Care or Med Surg.• BLS and IV Therapy certification.• Strong critical thinking and independence.**Additional Info:**• COVID•19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted.• Orientation provided post•credentialing.• Must be willing to float between units.Ideal for proactive LVNs ready to impact correctional healthcare.
