LPN Long Term Care - Spectrum Health : Job Details

This position offers up to a $5000.00 starting bonus! Post Acute Care Units. A Wing is a 58 bed Medicare/ Medicaid unit that has residents with multiple clinical issues including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac related issues needing monitoring. Nurses work closely with a variety of health care professionals including: doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/ OT, hospice, and spiritual support. A Wing offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth and personal satisfaction. B Wing is a 40 bed Medicare/ Medicaid/ Dementia unit. We provide care to residents with a variety of diagnoses. B wing is a great unit for nursing students to develop their organizational skills and gain some experience in dealing with challenging behaviors. This unit also works closely with a multidisciplinary team meets and discusses the residents plan of care.
