Triumph Public High Schools is a Texas-based, tuition-free, public charter high school with 9 schools operating in the State of Texas. Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. We believe that every student can and will succeed and we are there to help them every step of the way. Triumph Public High Schools is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and passionate individual with a heart to help at-risk youth, to work at our campus in McAllen, Texas. When you start here, you Triumph here! #TOGETHERWETRIUMPH Responsibilities: The LPAC Aide assists the Principal and ESL department with documentation record keeping and Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) processes and procedures. He/she works with parents, general education teachers, and administrators to assist in facilitating LPAC so that it meets the needs of ESL students. The LPAC aide assists with the completion and timely submission of all Limited English Proficiency Education documents within PEIMS and Corporate timelines and acts as a liaison between the school and the parents of English Language Learner students. He/she will also assist the Corporate Special Programs Coordinator to ensure compliance with all federal, state and district LPAC requirements. This position may require some occasional work on Saturday's, over the summer and some travel within the state of Texas. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an educational setting and with English language learners strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
  • Ability to read, write and understand English required
  • Required to pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check
  • Required to submit original college transcripts, service records and credentials within first 30 days of employment
