OverviewJob Summary: We are hiring a Entry Level DC Power Technician for the Critical Infrastructure Team. The new hire will plan and coordinate installation workloads, assign jobs, direct, instruct and assist equipment installer with installation of equipment. Work will be performed without supervision and instruction. Must have longstanding experience with installation and cabling of AC and DC power equipment including BCDBB's, BDFB's, and UPS Systems. Maicom LLC, a full-service general / electrical contractor, has an immediate outstanding opportunity for a full-time Entry Level DC Technician to join our successful team in Dupont, WA! As our Technician you will participate and assist the Lead Technician in the evaluation, installation, maintenance, testing and repair of DC power systems and Batteries. Teams will be working in telecom central offices, cellular sites, data centers, substations and industrial facilities. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with excellent time management and organizational skills. Our successful candidate is a quality-oriented individual with strong potential and a passion for providing excellent customer service. What You Will NeedRequirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required •Diagnostic and mechanical skills •Occasional travel involved •Must be able to lift 100 lb. and able to work at heights up to 10 feet •Must have ability to perceive differences in wire and cable color •Must possess valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
Beneficial skills & background:
  • Electrical construction, industrial maintenance, electronics, or related military experience is a plus, but we will train you.

Position Type:This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel: Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy. The pay range for this position in California is $20.00-24.00/hr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered). This information is provided per the California Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on the market location.
