Our Apprenticeships: ThisLow carbon heating technician (L3) course with Baxi gives you the opportunity to learn from experienced Gas & Heat Pump Engineers in the field, alongside studying for your Low Carbon Heating Technician Apprentice (Level 3) at college in Bury St Edmunds.
You will study on a day release basis over the 36-month programme at a centre of excellence for technical training and education.
Apprenticeships in Action
In your first year, as a Baxi Apprentices you'll be given the opportunity to attend our specially designed Baxi Apprentice residential course. As well as having a lot of fun, you will develop a number of skills from leadership, to communication, to team working and apply this to our core company values - One Team, Customer Focus and Sustainable Future.
What we offer:
Working hours - The working week is 37 hours.

Holiday - We offer up to five working weeks holidays in addition to the standard UK bank holidays, and we also offer the option to buy extra holidays
Expenses - Expenses & Accommodation covered during study day release.

Health Support
Application Requirements:
Based in the following locations – Cumbria and ok to travel once a week to West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds
Completed Level 2 Technical Certificate in Plumbing
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to listen and follow instructionsfrom your peers
Good practical skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
Must have a minimum GCSE Grade C /4 or above, or level 2 Functional skills equivalent in both Maths and English with Science desirable
The apprenticeship requires you to travel throughout its duration – so ability to travel and stay away from home for study blocks is essential.
Driving License
