Perform all operational maintenance on looms, general machine repair, machine setup and general operation.Primary DutiesIdentify the different types, ply and denier of yarns used to supply the creel and filling yarns for manufacturing fabric. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair weaving looms in accordance with proper preventive maintenance procedures according to schedule. Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication on machinery and /or equipment according to schedule. Replace bearings and seals.Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of looms during production. Work with Operators to troubleshoot and repair flagged looms. Enter data in Epicor for record keeping and proper scheduling. Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Keep designated MRO supply area clean and organized. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service and request replacement parts. Set up looms with the proper beam layout, creels, and let-off system and install proper pattern for woven fabric. Prepare loom for set up team.Complete and sign all required documents in the Job Traveler.Use proper Lockout Tagout procedures during any activity such as repairing, adjusting, lubricating or cleaning equipment. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S procedure, rules, and regulations. Stage work area for the organization of proper materials needed during the shift.Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to the Attendance Policy. Adhere to Company Handbook, policies, and procedures. Perform any other task deemed necessary.Secondary DutiesFollow all operating and safety procedures at all times.Alert Management of any unsafe condition such as chemical spill and/or airborne contaminates.Review machinery and assess and/or recommend for improvement of function or efficiency of machinery and equipment in the plant.Assist other members as needed.
