JMA Solutions has an opportunity available for a Logistics and Supply Specialist supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position provides critical supply chain and logistics management support to the Program Office. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is an on-site position with limited travel required.
The Contractor will be responsible for logging time in the DCRS system and supporting logistics tasks across FAA-designated locations.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Open and close Service Requests (SRs) and Work Orders (WOs) in coordination with the local Field Technology Office (FTO); document activities in ILSS.
Enter, maintain, and track property records in ILSS (e.g., Maximo or its replacement) for all Government-issued property, including site spares, test equipment, and support equipment.
Maintain inventory records for systems under repair and spare parts stored at local facilities.
Order and manage spare parts in coordination with the FAA Logistics Center depot repair facility.
Coordinate material shipments with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Inventory Manager (IM).
Receive and document spare part deliveries between the FAA Logistics Center and designated field locations (e.g., Tucson AZ, El Paso TX, San Diego CA).
Submit weekly reports of spare materials on hand at assigned site(s).
Track and document depot-level asset repairs.
Participate in weekly project meetings.
Support the business and management functions of logistics, including reporting, analysis, and record keeping.
Job Requirements
A bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in business, finance, accounting, economics, purchasing, contracts, marketing, quantitative methods, or related fields is required.
Intermediate-level professional with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or 13 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Strong understanding of logistics support and inventory management systems.
Experience using ILSS, Maximo (or similar systems), and standard office tools including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
Limited travel may be required.
SALARY: $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience and education level.
