Primary Purpose: Assists Project Team with a variety of project related functions, primarily focused on trucking, packaging, and coordinating shipments from fabrication shops to jobsites. Principal Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate the trucking of material from fabrication shops to job sites based on scheduled need by dates.
  • Forecast upcoming shipments.
  • Manifest truck loads and keep detailed documentation.
  • QC trucking load out to confirm everything is loaded and strapped properly and correctly documented.
  • Assist in documentation and budget control.
  • Take project meeting minutes and document substitution requests.
  • Input data into Transportation Management System.
  • Track material and assets.
  • Help monitor the project schedule.
  • Inspect and prepare outgoing loads for completion based on the bill of material.
  • Facilitate quality control measures.
  • Select products.
  • Run key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
  • Prepare and maintain productivity reports.
  • Assist in safety programs.
Job Scope: Scope of work may vary, from working on one large project, to several smaller size projects. Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Knowledge of construction industry and logistics processes and standards.
  • Detail orientation and organization.
  • Team orientation and collaborative spirit.
  • Self-motivation; ability to drive results.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and foster strong professional relationships.
  • Basic level of business acumen.
  • Ability to proactively identify potential problems and their solutions.
Physical and/or travel demands:
  • Work will be done in a combination of office and shop floor environments.
  • Travel to, temporary assignment, or relocation may be required based on project needs and locations.
  • Physical demands include walking on uneven surfaces, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Position includes sitting and standing, use of telephone, keyboard, and computer monitor.
Benefits and Compensation:
  • The range for this position has been established at $63,400.00 - $89,200.00 and is US Engineering's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
