Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

International SOS seeks an experienced Logistics Planner to develop and implement logistical strategies ensuring the timely and efficient movement, supply, and maintenance of troops and equipment. Responsibilities include coordinating resources, analyzing logistics challenges, and collaborating with various units to enhance operational readiness and support mission objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Involved in multiple facets of logistics to improve overall effectiveness of logistics planning.
  • Coordinates pre-deployment planning for necessary maintenance personnel, facilities, support equipment, materiel, and services.
  • Develops logistics staff estimates, including assessment of logistics capabilities and the characteristics of the area of operations.
  • This list is non-exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

    QualificationsBasic Requirements/Certifications:
    • Ten or more (10+) years of experience in logistical planning.
    • Recognized as an industry leader in area of expertise.
    Education Required:
    • Master's Degree in a relevant field of study.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Work is typically performed in an office environment.
    • Involves sitting, standing, climbing stairs for extended periods.
    • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
    Other Qualifications:
    • Must have or be able to obtain required security clearances.
    Additional Information

    Pay range varies based on factors including experience, skills, and location. Final salary will be determined accordingly. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid time off, and bonuses.

    Salary Range: Min: $145,000 Max: $155,000
