We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to support the Over-the-Horizon-Radar (OTHR) program within the Battle Management Directorate at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role involves managing logistics support for the program, which includes lifecycle management, integrated logistics support (ILS), procurement coordination, asset management, and system sustainment.
The Homeland Defense Over-the-Horizon Radar enhances target detection capabilities beyond line-of-sight radars by utilizing ground-based systems, supporting various military commands and agencies with initial deployment across multiple regions.
Responsibilities include:
Implementing robust logistics and sustainment processes for the OTHR lifecycle.Providing ILS services, including drafting and reviewing logistics documentation such as ILS Plans, RFPs, SOWs, PWSs, Technical Requirements Documents, and others.Analyzing development and sustainment contractor's ILS programs, data deliveries, design reviews, and testing support.Evaluating life cycle cost analyses and repair level analyses of the system.Developing logistics instructions for operational deployment.Supporting system transition to sustainment, including from Interim Contractor Support to depot support.Coordinating procurement of logistics items like spares and support equipment.Managing provisioning, inventory, asset management, and site surveys.Providing life cycle logistics support for the 3DELRR system, with knowledge of DoD acquisition logistics systems.Applying logistics policies to system development and sustainment methodologies.Advising on requirements, sparing, and maintenance needs based on system analysis.Interpreting project specifications and engineering data to provide expert advice.Supervising maintenance and repair operations for process improvements.Handling all logistics aspects of contract initiation, source selection, and system sustainment.Developing and recommending logistics solutions across IPS elements.Identifying product support requirements and coordinating stakeholder actions.Supporting Technical Orders, COTS integration, maintenance, and training support.Managing GFE, supply chain, and configuration/data management.Assisting with PBL strategies and logistics baseline development.Qualifications include:
- Previous DoD or Air Force experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an IPT environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Active US security clearance is mandatory.
Requirements:
- Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
