WoodMaster Portable Buildings is a division of Tuff Shed, Inc.
This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at our plant locations in Bastrop, TX and Cobden, IL and includes production of finished goods and fleet operations to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals while partnering with all stakeholders, including sales leaders/team in order to develop and implement production goals. This role focuses on optimizing operational processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring clear communication across the company regarding logistics related activities. This role takes ownership of key performance indicators and collaborates with other departments for overall success of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Finished Goods Management
· Develops and implements production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
· Maintains accurate finished goods inventory at plant and selling center locations and identifying discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
· Prepares and communicates finished goods inventory recommendations based on supply and demand
· Determine finished goods production levels and needs based on sales goals and results.
Transportation & Dispatch Management
· Manage the company's fleet operations including vehicle maintenance, accident management, supply chain management.
· Responsible for staffing and maintaining CDL Class A drivers to support customer deliveries and sales lot inventory.
· Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies for CDL Class A drivers to include all DOT and HOS regulations.
· Ensures proper scheduling and completion of customer deliveries within customer service guidelines
· Manages and mentors dispatchers and fleet team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Other
· Performing all other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the WoodMaster Portable Buildings management.
· In order to perform the above functions, must be present in the Plant, as scheduled, (including some weekends) and work all required hours.

Job Qualifications
- Ability to travel between two plant locations in Cobden, IL and Bastrop TX
- Highly skilled with developing and implementing strategies that optimize supply chain processes
· Process improvement abilities
· Knowledge of budget management
· Comprehensive knowledge of safety
· Advanced skills in MS Office, specifically in Excel spreadsheets with pivot tables
· Strong analytical skills
· Ability to foster teamwork and drive engagement
· Leadership and proficient interpersonal skills for management of people and conflict resolution
· Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office and Internet applications required; experience in utilizing Customer Relations Management (CRM) software – including Oracle, JDE, Onyx, Salesforce.com, Goldmine or similar systems is highly preferred
· Ability to solve problems using sound logic and good business judgment
· Ability to use arithmetic, mathematical, accounting and financial tools as they apply to Woodmaster Portable Buildings
· Ability to read, write and understand instructions given orally, in writing and/or in diagram form
· Ability to prepare written correspondence and reports that create a professional image for WoodMaster Portable Buildings
· Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including customers, business partners, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and the general public
Experience
· Experience in logistics, dispatch, supply chain management, preferred
· Managerial or leadership role, managing teams and overseeing operations
· Experience with transportation management, preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Licenses
- Must have valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
