Job Summary

The Logistics Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations including day-to-day workflow, asset accountability, systems management, fleet management, safety programs, general maintenance, and overall financial success. The manager will develop and implement effective processes to ensure the timely delivery and return of assets to meet the needs of our venue operation teams.

Essential Functions:
  • Creates and maintains a culture of safety in all warehouse operations, emphasizing training, policies, inspections, and audits for compliance.
  • Develops efficient warehouse systems, processes, and controls to support business objectives.
  • Implements inventory management solutions to ensure high operational productivity, asset availability, and accurate asset tracking.
  • Establishes and maintains equipment inspection processes to ensure quality control and prompt repairs of rental assets.
  • Manages receipt and distribution of assets related to Capex and supply orders, including inspection, accountability, processing, barcoding, shipment tracking, and reporting.
  • Provides leadership, planning, and delegation to achieve daily workflow and organizational goals.
  • Conducts regular physical inventory audits to ensure full accountability of assets.
  • Oversees warehouse budget, expenses, personnel, maintenance, equipment, fleet vehicles, and housekeeping.
  • Collaborates with Learning & Development to create training programs for warehouse staff and logistics technicians, including compliance with FMSCA/DOT regulations.
  • Develops and maintains reporting metrics on equipment utilization, shipments, repairs, transfers, and schedules.
  • Seeks innovative ways to improve logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory management and layout organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Minimum four (4) years in operational warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
    • At least four (4) years of AV industry experience and knowledge of general equipment.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP and project management tools.
    • Proven ability to lead teams and foster long-term relationships with internal and external partners.
    Required Skills & Knowledge:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
    • Knowledge of AV equipment and supplies.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Understanding of logistics and inventory management legal and corporate guidelines.
    Physical Demands:

    Ability to sit at a desk or operate in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, stooping, crouching, standing, and walking for extended periods.
