Position Overview

At AVNIK, we value hard work, expertise, and quality of life. As a Logistics Engineer, you will bridge the gap between Army Aviation systems design and sustainment, focusing on lifecycle planning aligned with the 12 Product Support Elements (PSE). Your interpersonal skills will help develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Army personnel and project managers. You will perform analyses, identify technology and cost-saving opportunities, and support engineering teams in developing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Baseline Comparison Analysis and System Development and Sustainment Assessments for lifecycle supportability.
• Identify technology and cost-saving opportunities for sustainment activities.
• Perform Business Case Analyses within multidisciplinary teams.
• Research and analyze data sources for logistics engineering metrics related to Key Performance Parameters and Attributes.
• Support development of technology solutions and document operational procedures.
• Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and logistics planning.
• Develop Logistics Product Data for Aviation weapons systems.
• Ensure compliance with GEIA-STD-0007 and manage relational databases.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 6 years of experience, or 10 years of related experience. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience with Army Aircraft Systems or military service supporting Army Aviation Systems.
• Expertise in systems such as Apache AH-64, Blackhawk UH-60/MH-60, Cargo CH-47/MH-47, UAS, Turbine Engines, or Future Vertical Lift.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and technical skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Successful background check including criminal, education, employment, credit, and driving records.
