false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Universal Stainless is a specialty steel producer supplying technically advanced materials to the aerospace, automotive, energy, medical and electronics markets. Objective: Facilitate internal and external shipments Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Ensure that the supply chain is efficient and organized
• Review and monitor shipments delivery timeline ensure it reaches the customer safety and on-time

• Schedule trucks for all shipments (both internal and external) which ensure prompt, cost-effective and reliable service.
• Communicate with customers to facilitate shipment
• Retain appropriate records in appropriate system.
• Post customer shipments to travelers and file all applicable documents that pertain to orders.
• Assist in preparing paperwork for shipments
• Ship material for outside conversion and receive return conversion
• Pre-plan shipments and consolidate loads whenever possible to minimize shipping costs
• Report out weekly and monthly shipment numbers
• Retain appropriate paperwork and digital records
• Any other responsibilities necessary for facilitating shipping

• Related Associates Degree
• 5 Years related industry experience
• Supply Chain experience required

• Excellent attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Organization and time management skills
• Understanding of the supply chain including common obstacles and effective solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-starter
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office
