Position SummaryJL Exhibit Services is seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the coordination of shipments, materials, and scheduling for trade shows and events. This role is essential in ensuring that all materials arrive at their destination on time and in excellent condition, helping to deliver a seamless client experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments for trade shows and events
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and clients to schedule pickups, deliveries, and special handling needs
Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays or issues as they arise
Prepare shipping documents, labels, and bills of lading
Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities
Work with internal departments (production, sales, warehouse) to confirm job readiness and shipping schedules
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and customer-specific requirements
Assist with freight claims and damage reports when needed
Support on-site logistics as required during peak event periods
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or logistics coursework preferred
1–2 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, supply chain, or related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
Familiarity with logistics software or shipping platforms is a plus
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends during peak event seasons
Experience in the trade show, events, or exhibit services industry
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
Familiarity with warehouse operations or inventory systems
Forklift certification or DOT knowledge a plus (if applicable)
