Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, this position will be responsible for tracking and tracing each load, creating Bill of Ladings and scheduling appointments. Duties:
- Provide support for sales and operations team as it pertains to commercial moving and logistics projects
- Professionally communicate with vendors and customers via phone and internet
- Schedule appointments for pickups in coordination with shipping and production teams utilizing customer portals
- Schedule deliveries to ensure customer timelines are met and delivery expectations are fulfilled
- Generate precise and accurate bills of lading
- Track each load in transit and update the sales and coordination teams on the status of all shipments
- Identify and escalate issues or potential problems with shipments, ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure accurate data entry for all shipment tracking and appointment records daily
- Work effectively and efficiently to ensure all tracking information is provided to sales, logistics, and customer service teams promptly
Skills/Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Capable of working quickly, accurately, and efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance with the flexibility to work weekends
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Bilingual a plus
