Job Overview:

As a Logistics Area Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating warehouse, receiving, production, and shipping activities. You will ensure all employees work within established health, safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Night Shift: 11pm-7amKey Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse duties such as picking, case handling, loading/unloading trailers, providing materials to production, inventory management, etc.
• Coordinate inbound raw material receiving and finished goods shipping
• Assign, prioritize, and supervise work to meet schedules
• Requisition materials and supplies, monitor inventory
• Complete necessary documentation under regulatory standards
• Record workplace incidents immediately
• Follow and enforce health and safety programs and legislation
• Provide performance feedback and guidance to employees
• Resolve problems and errors, scan materials, print documents and labels
• Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas
• Respond to workplace conflicts appropriately
• Lead problem-solving efforts and guide others
• Release orders following guidelines
• Reconcile order statuses daily
• Monitor employee time and attendance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support inbound/outbound operations with system/manual tasks
• Check NAV system for order locations
• Delegate daily orders to staff

The Recipe for Success:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience in shipping and receiving in manufacturing
• Stress management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements
• Quick learner of in-house systems
• Deadline-oriented with urgency
• Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP
